Online Shopping With Stampin' Up - Some Hints and Tips
Are you new to online ordering? Wondering about host codes? Keen to earn some free products? Here's a few extra instructions that I hope will help?
First up click on the Shop Online button on my blog, or on this link: Sue's Online Store
You'll see my details up the top if you're on a computer and scroll down the sidebar if you're on a phone/tablet to check who you are shopping with.
(If you have a regular demonstrator, pop by their store and make sure their details are showing.)
Click on the Create Account link if it is the first time you're visiting my store. Otherwise click the Sign In button and enter your details. Now you're all set to browse and shop. Here's a couple of handy things to look out for.
This image below shows where you can find our main menu - you can select a particular category or did you know you can also select a particular colour family and look for items in that colour. Perfect for colour coordinating. I've also highlighted where you can find the search tool. I use this ALL the time. So handy. The item description underneath will give more details, or please get in touch if you've got any questions I can help with about products or what you need for your projects.
Once you've selected an item and read the description below, you can click to add it to your cart. Or did you know you can add it to your wish list if you want to come back to it later? Click the heart to do that. You can create several lists here.
Once you've finished your shopping it is time to check out. Click on the cart icon or select 'View Shopping Cart.'
Above the order summary is where you'll find a spot to add in the latest host code. Pop that on (if your order is under $250) and I'll send a little sample pack in the post the following month. You can find the latest host code here: Sue's Host Code and I include it in my newsletter each month.
But wait! If your order is over $250, that means you've earned yourself some free products. Don't put the host code in if your order is over $250 - follow these steps to select and claim your shopping rewards.
Once items total to $250 you'll see a pop up message telling you that you've earned some rewards. On the checkout page you'll also see that present symbol - click on that to see what your rewards total is. It is also listed under your items.
Ready to get your freebies? Head back to the products section and select an item you'd like as one of your free rewards. Instead of clicking 'add to cart' click the 'claim rewards' underneath to get this item for free. Continue until you've used all your rewards $$ (they can't be saved for another order so be sure to use them all before you finalise your order.
Once you have finished head back to your cart to find the summary. The rewards section is underneath. I've highlighted where you can see if you've got any rewards $$ left to spend.
Once you are all done click checkout and you'll see a final summary. Be sure to check that your postal address is correct.
At the bottom it will also tell you who you are shopping with if you need to check.
If everything is correct - you're all set to click on submit order.
You'll get a confirmation email and will also receive tracking information if you need to check on your parcel.
Your parcel will take approx 1 - 2 weeks to arrive* depending on where you live and is delivered by Australia Post.
My Melbourne parcels generally arrive within a few days.
* With COVID restrictions parcel delivery is taking a little longer at present in some areas.
Once your BBB (Big Brown Box as we call them) arrives, unpack and make sure all your items are there. I always give things like my punches a little test drive just to make sure there's no jams or problems. There is a 90 day guarantee on your items so get in touch (within that 90 days) if there are any problems with any of your products.
Our Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine has a 3 year warranty
Other Frequently Asked Questions:
* I can't find a current item in the online store.
Sometimes when an item is out of stock the item number is turned off and you won't be able to find it in the store. Please get in touch and I can check the latest inventory report to see if there's an estimated date of when it is due back in stock.
* I have an old catalogue. Can I get an item that has retired from the range?
Once items have retired they are no longer available in our online store. Sometimes though you'll find retired products in our clearance rack so keep an eye out there. They are discounted and strictly while stocks last so if you see something you like there jump in quickly. They tend to sell out speedily.
* I'm using the search button to find an item and it isn't showing up.
I have to say our search button is a little finicky. Try a different combination of words or keep it simple with just one word (eg for circle punch, just search circle.) Or drop me a line and I'll lend a hand. Apologies - hopefully the online store tech team are working on making our search function a little more robust.
Do you have another question I could pop on here? Leave a comment and let me know or send me an email at [email protected] and I'll update the page.
Get in touch too if you've got any questions on how to use any of your tools or supplies. I'd be happy to help.
I hope that little step by step was handy.
Happy Browsing and Shopping!
Cheers, Sue
