Stampin' Up: New Annual Catalogue and New Online Exclusives

Lot of new goodies in our newly released range.   Shop/browse here:  What's New?

What caught your eye first?  Here are a few of my favourites.

Very very top of my list is the Kintsugi Suite.  I just love the whole meaning of this centuries old Japanese art form

Kintsugi is seen as a metaphor for resilience, the process of healing, and beauty in brokenness.

Kintsugi cards

Each month we get some new additions to our kit range and I've been waiting for this one since seeing it at our recent event.  I do love blues and this Beautiful Blues Kit is very elegant.

Beautiful blues kit

This kit includes this small set of stamps - I love the sentiments on this one for those times you want to let someone know you care.

If you are keen to try out our new two tone cardstock (thicker than DSP, thinner than our regular cardstock - great for layering) then we have it in every colour and we also have some great packs that have a range of colours. They're designed to coordinate with a scrapbooking kit but I also keep an eye out for any that have some of my favourite colours.  This pack is called Celebrate Together and includes Blackberry Bliss, Cloud Cover, Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, Strawberry Slush.  It is a useful way to try out some of this.  The card has a white core and it just beautiful for embossing and sanding.

Celebrate together two tone cardstock pack

There's lots more but I'll leave it with just those for now.  I'm still working out what to put on my first order.

This weekend I'm chipping away at my latest craft room clean up.  Each weekend I'm tackling either one small space (a shelf or a drawer) or one product type.  I think my dies and embossing folders are getting a sort out today.

Have a lovely weekend and get in touch if I can help with any craft questions.

Happy creating,

Sue

New Step By Step Video: Make A Butterfly Pop Up Card

Beautiful Butterflies Pop Up Cards

I just love these pop up butterfly cards.  All you need is a favourite piece of patterned paper, two coordinating colours and the Beautiful Butterflies Dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder.  (Find them here: Beautiful Butterflies Bundle.)

While I had a bit more chill time on the school holidays I've spent a few days getting my brain around how to make craft tutorial videos again.  Had to learn a few new pieces of filming and editing software and watch 70 gazillion beginner film/edit tutorials but I'm a giant nerd at heart and do love a bit of a dive into how to do something new.  This one is a bit rough in places but what is that saying - don't let perfection be the enemy of the good - so I'm uploading it anyway, umms and aaahs and bloopers included.

I should really have an outtakes video - it'd be funnier!  When I got up to the part where I trimmed the matting piece of patterned paper, I accidentally trimmed it too close then when I tried to take the butterfly window cardstock layer off I tore it and had to start all over again.  A few choice words to edit out there.  :-)

Happy creating.

Cheers, Sue

Last Chance List: Tune In Stamps and Dies

Have you checked our Last Chance List for any retiring products - available while stocks last.  Here is one I enjoyed making cards with - the Tune In Stamps and Dies.  (Note: The stamps and dies are cheaper to purchase separately at the moment.)

Card and Colour Palette Template - Tune In

I've combined it here with the gorgeous Country Woods patterned paper - a really versatile pack with lots of woodgrains and textures that make perfect backgrounds for a card or scrapbook layout.

Cards For Kids: Cute Dinosaur Stamp

Do you have any dinosaur loving children that you'd love to make a card for?  This is a very cute bundle for some dinosaur cardmaking or scrapbooking.

Darling dinos bundle and card

Just the stamps on their own are terrific and lend themselves pretty well to fussy cutting.  Or get the dies as well if you prefer a quick die cut.  It has the cute dinosaur eggshell die too and some clouds which help to build a cute scene.

Stunning New Papers For Cardmaking and Scrapbooking

The more I use these papers from our most recent Online Exclusives release, the more I love them.  This one is called Botanical Textures DSP.

Botanical textures dsp

This beautiful grayscale paper features a range of leaf print images and some lovely abstract ones on the reverse side.  Use it as is or use your blending brushes to add a touch of colour.

Botanical textures card group

It makes a lovely background panel for a card and is a great addition to a scrapbooking layout too.

The other paper from this suite is the utterly gorgeous Woven Textures DSP.

I just love this one with its earthy tones. A great way to add some natural elements and organic textures to your cards or layouts.

Stampin' Up! Onstage 2025: Brisbane

Hello - I'm back from Onstage 2025 where demonstrators got to catch up with our stamping friends, make new ones and see some inspiring craft presentations.  Have a few snippets to share with you today.

We got a sneaky peek at our upcoming annual catalogue that goes live in May.  If you've purchased in the last 12 months I have organised you a complimentary catalogue which will be arriving in your mailbox sometime during April so keep an eye out.

Annual catalogue 2025

A big thanks to all my lovely customers (and team.)  I received a couple of award ribbons for sales and team building and also got to walk the stage for my $400,000 US in career sales (over 17 years.)  A nice milestone to celebrate and I'm sharing that one with all of you that had a BBB - Big Brown Box - delivery and helped towards that total.

Stage walk

We got to see some of the kits that will be coming soon in our Kit Collection.  I particularly loved this blue one so looking forward to spotting that in the new releases.  Each month we get 2 or 3 new kits and I think they're such a great option for some 'creating in a box.'  They make terrific gifts, or perfect to throw in the bag if you're heading off on a trip, or in the caravan.  Browse our Kit Collection here.

Onstage 8

Here's a bit of a peek at one of our new upcoming suites.  If you're a fan of those lovely layered word dies (I love them) this one has 'lovely' and 'bloom' plus some coordinating phrases and words.  Quite like this font.

Onstage 5

We had a play with one of the new products in our range - inspired by our Close To My Heart connection - the two tone cardstock.  It is thicker than our DSP but thinner than our cardstock.  You can do lots of things with it as shown below.  It is really nice for using with embossing folders as it has a white core so you can emboss then lightly sand off the colour for some added interest. One side is a darker tone and one is a lighter shade.  You can find our current range here:  Two Toned Cardstock
More colours coming.  I'm putting a few of my favourite colours on my next order.

Onstage 4

It was lovely to have so many people with us at Onstage from the former Close To My Heart that have joined us as Stampin' Up demonstrators over the last year.  For all of our new suite presentations we saw some cardmaking ideas and also some scrapbooking inspiration.  I came home with a renewed enthusiasm to get back into some memory keeping.  I'm loving the new products, scrapbooking kits and all the lovely people that have joined our Stampin' Up family.

Most of all it was great to catch up with all my SU friends.  Next year our Onstage event is in Sydney from March 12-15.
If you'd like to be part of the fun and love an early peek at new products - have a think about joining our demo family before early next year when registration opens. We'd love to welcome you to the crew.

Stampin' Up: Grow With Love

Grow with love stamp

This stamp caught my eye from the Online Exclusives. It is the Grow With Love stamp.  Isn't that simple border stamp effective and 'you're on my mind' is such a caring greeting - perfect for a range of occasions.  There is a coordinating die set too if you'd like to make those little seed packet style envelopes.

Grow with love card

Have a great week and perhaps we should all send a card to someone to let them know we're thinking of them.

Happy stamping.

Cheers, Sue
