Aren't these hippos so cute.  They're from the stamp set Hippest Hippos (one of our saleabration options free with a $90 order.)   I've used my Stampin' Blends to colour them in and teamed them with the Picture This Dies.  I've also used a few scraps of the Rings Of Love DSP (another of our Saleabration free products.)  

Here's a few step by step pics. 

First - stamp with memento black ink. 

Choose some Stampin' Blends to add some colour.  I've used gray granite, smoky slate, crumb cake and a touch of poppy parade. 

I'm definitely not an expert colouring person - I usually start with the light colour, then add some of the darker shade, then go back with the lighter shade to blend.  

When I finished colouring I roughly cut around  each hippo and adhered them to the back of the circles with tape.  (Crumb Cake cardstock and Picture This Dies.)  I also added some scraps of patterned paper.  

Stick down on a white card base and all done.
