Sketch Challenge: Just Add Ink #596

Decided it was time for a challenge today to kickstart some time at the craft desk.  Headed to Just Add Ink to check their latest challenge and it was a sketch one.  (Find it here:  Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge #596)

Here's the sketch:

#596

I thought it was a perfect one for doing something different with my latest favourite patterned paper - Waves Of The Ocean.  I love the coordinating foils too.

I've used the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut 3 different sized rectangles.  The 'thanks' is cut with the Amazing Thanks dies.  Initially I just cut the foil word (see below) but I think it looks better with the extra layer you get using the second die - the white shadow effect.

Doing a challenge was a great way to get the craft batteries charged up.   Thanks JAI team for a great sketch.

Happy stamping,

Cheers, Sue

This is such a great paper to use for this sketch Sue! The colours and patterns are fabulous and the thanks die is a beautiful way to tie them together. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.

Oh I can see why thats your new favourite paper - it is striking. The colours and patterns makes it look like it's in motion. A lovely way to showcase the paper. Chantell Just Add Ink
