Sketch Challenge: Just Add Ink #596

Decided it was time for a challenge today to kickstart some time at the craft desk.  Headed to Just Add Ink to check their latest challenge and it was a sketch one.  (Find it here:  Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge #596)

Here's the sketch:

#596

I thought it was a perfect one for doing something different with my latest favourite patterned paper - Waves Of The Ocean.  I love the coordinating foils too.

I've used the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut 3 different sized rectangles.  The 'thanks' is cut with the Amazing Thanks dies.  Initially I just cut the foil word (see below) but I think it looks better with the extra layer you get using the second die - the white shadow effect.

Doing a challenge was a great way to get the craft batteries charged up.   Thanks JAI team for a great sketch.

Happy stamping,

Cheers, Sue

Retiring Stampin' Up Products and New Catalogue News

Last Chance List (2)

It is that time of year - time to farewell some of our product range and almost time to welcome a new catalogue.

Here's the link to look through the list of all the items that are retiring from our collection (including some at up to 40% off and all while stocks last)

BROWSE or SHOP LAST CHANCE ITEMS

One that jumped out at me was my very well used Tailored Tag Punch.

Untitled design (14)

I'm loving this one and have been making my way through a great stack of my patterned paper collection recently making cards like these ones below.

That one features the DSP, foils and gems from the Waves Of The Ocean collection.  Find it here:  Waves Of The Ocean

Another discounted product from the retiring list is the lovely In Good Taste DSP.  This is a huge pack of 24 sheets and it has been reduced from $37 to $18.50.  Find it here:  In Good Taste DSP

And there are lots more.  Have a browse and grab any you totally need in your craft stash.

The host code this month is   JDMPFPCB     Pop that on if you're ordering online and I'll send a little sample pack to you in my next mail out.

Demonstrators get to have a sneaky early peek now and can order some things from it in April.

(Psst!  Join now if you just can't wait - more details here:  Join Sue's Friendly Craft Loving Team)

We would love to welcome you to the crew.

HOW DO I GET MY NEW CATALOGUE?

If you've ordered from me in the past 12 months keep an eye on the mailbox in April.  I'll be mailing your complimentary catalogue as soon as my boxes arrive here.  (If you don't have an active demonstrator or if you've not ordered in a while - pop a retiring list order through if you'd like to qualify for this happy mail.)

Catalogues are otherwise $10 to post so get in touch if you'd like to arrange yours.

This new one goes live in May so we've got a little time to browse through it with a cuppa - isn't that just so much fun.

Happy stamping!

Cheers, Sue

Join Stampin' Up!

Sue Madex Papercrafts (1)If you just LOVE all things crafty and colour coordinated - you would love being part of our Stampin' Up demonstrator family.

There are so many great perks to being part of the team.  Here's just a few:

  • Get to see all the new catalogues first.  (I love this one - I'm rather impatient.  :-)   We see the new annual catalogue PDF on March 24th. Join now and that could be you too - wink.)
  • The starter kit is a fabulous way to get lots of things from your wish list at a bargain price.  Choose $235 of items and you can pick ANY current products, and you'll pay just $169 with free shipping.
  • You get your products at a discount (minimum 20% off.)
  • You are totally free to pick how you'd like to be part of things - you can just purchase for yourself, or you can share a catalogue with friends and family, or you can grow your own home based craft business.  It is all up to you.
  • If at any time you decide it is not for you anymore then you just return to being a customer.  Too easy.  You don't need to give back your kit and there are no exit fees.  Note: Quarterly minimums apply to remain an active demonstrator.  If you join now you have until the end of June for that first minimum.
  • The demonstrator community is a fun and friendly group to be part of.  Sharing a hobby with others who love their papercrafts makes for extra enjoyment I find.  I LOVE the fab people I've met through Stampin' Up.

New hairIf you do decide you'd love to join as a demonstrator - here's what to do.

  • First up choose a team to join.  When choosing a person to join with (if you don't already have an established relationship) - try to find someone you click with.  Have a think about what sort of support you are after and ask a few questions to see if you think that someone is a good fit for you.
  • If you think you might like to join my team I'd be happy to chat with you and answer any questions you have.  I'd describe myself as a bit of a casual relaxed upline.  I can help you with questions and welcome you to my small friendly team.  I'm here for anyone who would like some extra assistance but I'm also happy to leave people to do their own thing.  We have a small team facebook group to share ideas, a small business builders group for those interested in that side of things and we are part of a larger fab group with lots of fun activities to join such as blog hops, product shares, Artist Trading Card swaps and lots more.
  • Once you're all set and ready to join it is time to make your starter kit list.  Check through the current range and choose products to the value of $235.  (For the starter kit it needs to be this value or lower - you can't go over and pay the difference.  I think the record in my direct team is someone who got it within 60 cents - impressive!)
  • Grab your list, head along to this link and you're on your way.  Join Sue's Team
  • If you're up to that step I'll look forward to welcoming you to the team soon.    :-)

Have a fabulous weekend and I hope there's some craft time in it for you.

Happy stamping,

Cheers, Sue

Simply Marbleous Cards and My Favourite Punch

Simple marbleous card

Whenever I've got new DSP to try out I make one of these cards.  It is such a quick and easy design with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and shows off the papers well.

This one features the Saleabration freebie Simply Marbleous.  (Free with a $90 purchase.)  Saleabration has been extended until March 16 here in Australia so a bit over a week left if you'd like to add some of this paper to your stash.
