Hey there. Hope you are all keeping well. It is a bumpy old year isn't it. We've been a little bit grumpy and flat this week at various times so to pep up the mood a bit and distract us all from the news John suggested we have a Christmas In July today.

Grabbed one arm load of Christmas stuff from the garage to decorate the table (and managed to find some old bon bons. Win.) Pork has gone into the oven and the kids have been busy all afternoon making Christmas biscuits. Lots of fun and a great way to shake off the blues.

I had my second AZ jab yesterday and was happy to wake up this morning feeling fine - had a few days of the aches after my first dose so timed this one for a Friday in case I needed a quiet weekend, but seems to be no second dose side effects for me which was nice. With numbers being a bit unpredictable I decided to bring forward my second one and had it at 8 1/2 weeks.
Aren't those roses on our table pretty. I got them for Hannah to celebrate her getting a job. Yay. She's going to be working for a tutoring organisation.
I think it might be time to put the kettle on and have a cup of tea and one (or 10!) of these biscuits. Yummy. I hope you are finding ways to keep the spirits up. Stay safe and take care.
xx Sue
