Pansy Petal Cards

Pansy card 1

I enjoyed having a play with the Pansy Petal DSP. I’ve teamed it up with my newly found Rectangular Postage Stamp punch and the Basic Borders dies.  (I just knew as soon as I reordered that punch it would turn up and sure enough it did.)  The postage stamp punch is a great one for mixing and matching patterned papers.  The piece that I cut using our new Basic Borders dies has also had some texure added with the aptly named Tasteful Textile embossing folder.

I made this card using the leftover piece of white cardstock.  Great shape for teaming up with one of the patterned papers for a simple card.  I accidentally mixed my whites and did the base card with Basic White and the greeting shape with Shimmery White but I don't mind the contrast.

Pansy card 2

Choc puddingWe are just about to finish our latest lockdown here in Melbourne. Let's keep those fingers crossed we manage to keep COVID at bay for the remainder of winter. I hope you are keeping well and keeping those spirits up.  Looking forward to having my second jab in August.

I did enjoy my couple of days in at work with the prep students who were attending.  Next week back to my regular groups from grades 3 and 5 and I can't wait to see them again.  My two at home got bored today and decided to do some baking so we all had choc self saucing pudding for afternoon tea.  Yum - and bonus, there's leftovers for dessert.  (Interrupting my health kick for some delicious pudding - ha ha.)

Been a rather expensive week here - first my laptop decided it was on its last legs so I'm busy transferring files over to my new one and seeing how many assorted passwords I can remember.  :-)   Then I had a klutzy moment and dropped my Apple watch on the bathroom slate floor - which takes no prisoners.  So I'm watchless for the time being and realising how often I look at my wrist in the general course of the day.

Well that's about all my waffle for today.  Sending out creative energies and hope you get some craft time in your week.  What would we do without our hobbies.

Take care, Sue

Wow! Love this design and layout Sue. What a great way to use those dies!
