New Stampin' Up! Catalogue Time Jan 3rd

I just LOVE this time of year - that quiet part between Christmas and New Years.  Perfect for curling up with a holiday read.  Get any good books under the tree that you'd recommend?

Kitty

We had a lovely 2 day festival of feasting over Christmas - starting at our place with John's side of the family and then Boxing Day at my sister's house with my side.  I think it'll be 5 ways with lettuce for me for a few days now - still digesting all the yummy!   It was lovely to spend time with all the extended family.

Now I'm up to contemplating what my One Little Word is going to be for 2020.  (You can read about Ali Edwards' One Little Word Project here.)  I like the process of thinking about what word resonates for my plans for the coming year.  Are you a 'New Years' Resolutions' person?

If you've got creativity time on your list for 2020, we've got a new mini catalogue going live on Jan 3rd full of projects and pics to inspire you.  Here's a couple of sneak peeks.

If you've made a purchase from me this year your catalogue went into the post before Christmas so should either have arrived or be getting there very soon (depending on how busy the Christmas posties were.)  If you don't have a current demonstrator and would like a copy - get in touch and I'll pop one in the post in my next mail out.  If you're one of my customers but I haven't heard from you for a while - let me know that you'd like some catalogue mail and I'll get one postal for you.

Have a lovely week.  Happy stamping!

Cheers, Sue

Wishing You A Merry Christmas

Tree cards

Just taking a moment before I head to the supermarket for the big pre Christmas shop to duck in here and share a few Christmas cards I made at a recent craft retreat.

I feel very lucky to be part of the small group that heads off a few times a year to this beautiful craft retreat in Lancefield.  Leanne and Jenn that organise it all do an amazing job of the theme, little gifts and decorating - and of course the yummy food.  With my craft room out of action for a fair chunk of 2019 it has been nice to get away to get stuck into some creating.

Brightly gleaming cards

I hope your lead up to Christmas is all going smoothly.  Things ticked off those lists, presents wrapped, food preparations going well, some smiles for the busy retail workers.  We are hosting John's side of the family this year and I'm making a couple of new dishes.  Had a trial run last week and they were very yummy.  This salmon roulade was delicious and I can make it the day before - bonus.  And also from Georgia from Well Nourished this yummy dairy free dessert.  (We have a few non dairy family members so thought this would be a handy addition.)  This keeps really well in the freezer so making that one today.

Wishing all of my lovely customers, class regulars, blog and newsletter readers and fellow crafters a very merry Christmas and all the very best for the New Year.  May it bring health and happiness and of course lots of time to pursue passions and get creative.

First frost cards

Merry Christmas,

Love Sue xx

PS: If you've placed an order this year your new catalogues went into the post last week (midweek) so should be arriving soon.  With the Christmas post things can take a little longer so they may not arrive until after all the rush.  Let me know when yours arrives - I always worry a bit they'll go AWOL in the mail somewhere.  Host code goodies in the same envelope for those who used the host code in recent months.  Happy browsing everyone - the new catalogue and Saleabration starts January 3rd.  Customers and any craft lovers without a demonstrator - I'll do another mail out after Christmas so give a holler if you'd like a copy.
