Week 18 AWH Colour Creations: Fresh Fig

Colour creations banner

Fresh figBack again with our AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop where we are working our way alphabetically through the Stampin' Up! colours.

This week we are up to Fresh Fig - one of our In Colours.

I decided to make a Christmas card and also to use up a bunch of little bits and pieces that were on my craft desk.

I've been meaning to get around to stamping the lovely deer from Dashing Deer stamp set.  I used my stamparatus so that I could stamp him a number of times to get a nice inky coverage and rich deep colour with the Fresh Fig ink.  I cut him out with the coordinating framelit.  I had some white pieces around - one stitched circle and one piece embossed with the Corrugated Embossing Folder.  Some copper glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel glimmer paper pack to trim and I used some copper thread from one of our card kits as well.

Would you like to see some more Fresh Fig creations?  Each week I look forward to seeing what the girls come up with.

Head on over to Catherine's blog (click here) to see the other Fresh Fig projects.

We'll be back next Tuesday at 8pm with Garden Green.

Cheers, Sue

What a lovely card Sue, Fresh Fig is such an easy colour to work with and looks so great. Love the Dashing Deer bundle I can see me using this for years.

Lovely Sue. The corrugated embossing folder looks great and I love how you have made the punched sentiment look antiqued.

What an amazing card Sue and even more incredible that you put it together from things lying around your desk! Thanks for hopping along tonight!
