Some More Last Chance List Highlights

Need to catch up on the latest news about this year's Retiring List and Stampin' Up! Colour Revamp - catch up with this post here.

Yesterday we explored a few fab products on the farewell list.  See them here.  Today we're going to look at a few more that jumped off the page at me.

Birck wall embossing folder

LOVE this brick wall embossing folder.  Just seems to work with everything.  You can check it out in this next project.  Doesn't it look good framing that oval.

Thoughts and prayers card

This card features another retiring favourite that has been around for many many years - Thoughts and Prayers.  I've used it a lot for sympathy or thinking of you type cards.

 Thoughts and prayers

I was a bit slow to get going with my pack of this next paper but once I opened it - have used it SO much.  It is such a great pack.  Use it as is for a gorgeous neutral coloured backgrounds, or add some pops of colour - a little or a lot.  Just a stunner.

Petal passion DSP

I've had a couple of questions about the glimmer paper which is on the retiring list.  It is being retired then replaced with a new variety that I believe is a little thinner according to the description in the catalogue.  I'm hoping the new one will cut well in the Big Shot - although my cranking arm could probably use the exercise rolling it back and forward through the machine!

Do you have lots of our current style of ink pad and need a handy storage option for them?  Our ink caddy is just the thing and it is retiring so only available while stocks last.  It holds 48 ink pads with room at the top for the ink refills.

(Our new style of ink pad (coming soon) will still fit into this caddy but won't click into place so you'll need to be a bit careful turning it.)

Anything catch your eye from the last chance list?  Don't forget - if you need cardstock in retiring colours, be quick.

Stampin' Up: Let's Unpack The Retiring List

Did you catch yesterday's post with all the latest Stampin' Up! news about the retiring list and the colour revamp? Find it here.

Today I'd like to unpack the retiring list a bit and highlight a few of the last chance items that jumped off the list for me.  These are all available while stocks last

(You can find the shopping links for all these products at the bottom of this post if you need more details or would like to purchase before they're gone.)

Large numbers projects

First up the Number Of Years stamp set and matching Large Numbers thinlits.   This is such a versatile addition to the collection - so handy for all those milestone birthdays, and any occasion you want to personalise with a number.  I'm definitely hanging on to my set of these two.

Got some dinosaur fans among your family or friends?  This set No Bones About It is terrific for cards for them.

This single stamp is just $17 and quite a handy one.  Makes a great feature greeting over some DSP.

Stylized birthday

Happy birthday bag

(It features in the bag above with the lovely background stamp Definitely Dahlia - also retiring.)

If you are a butterfly fan like me, all of these butterfly products are finishing up.  We've used these quite a bit in class over the last few years.  Gorgeous products that you can adapt to a range of techniques.

Do you have a lot of wood mount stamps?  The Stamp-A-Ma-Jig is a very handy stamp positioner.  We've got the stamparatus coming soon which is wonderful for your photopolymer and clear mount stamp sets but if you've got lots of wood in your stash and don't have a stampamajig - it is super handy and about to retire..

Stampamajig

I'll be back tomorrow with some more highlights from the 'Fond Farewell' list.

Ink refills

Before I go - the thing that I think will sell out first is cardstock in the colours that we are saying goodbye to.  (You have until May 7th to order ink pads and ink refills if needed in any farewell colours. After that it is while stocks last.)   If you have a favourite colour from this list and would like to replenish your cardstock supplies - be quick is my advice.

Here's a reminder of the colours that are finishing up.

Farewell colours

I'm off to tackle a bit of a clean up in my craft room - eek.  How does it get so messy so fast is the question I always ask?  I think because I never quite get my clean ups totally finished and then mess attracts mess.  One of these days I'll get it thoroughly organised.

Happy stamping!

Cheers, Sue

Stampin' Up: Retiring List and Colour Revamp

It is a super exciting day today with lots and lots of news.  We're having our Colour Revamp to freshen up our colour collections plus the retiring list is out today with all the products we are farewelling to make way for exciting new things.

Last chance products

Head over here to my online store to see what is retiring:

Now you will probably notice quite a few of our colours on that retiring list and that is because we are having a colour revamp.

Colour-revamp

Every 3 - 5 years Stampin' Up! look closely at our colours and do a bit of a freshen up.  This one is a bigger revamp - retiring some colours that were getting a little tired and bringing in some gorgeous new shades.  They look so fabulous - I'm really excited about this and can't wait to play with the new colours.

As those of you with eagle eyes may spot in that picture above, SU are also making a change to their ink pads with a new design.  It opens like a compact, has a snugger fitting lid and they stack beautifully.

ColourHere's a summary of the colour changes:

We will have our 4 colour families - Brights, Regals, Neutrals and Subtles - each with 10 colours of classic ink, plus a Basics collection with White, Vanilla and Black.

Our ink caddy is retiring.  For those of you who have one - our new ink pads will fit into the caddy but they won't click into place so you'll need to be extra careful when turning it.  Watch this space for new storage options down the track.  The new ink pads do stack nicely for easy storage.

New coverWell that is sure a lot of exciting news today.  I'll be back later with some pics from our Onstage event over the weekend.

If you've placed an order in the last 12 months then a new catalogue will be on its way to you in May - keep an eye on the post.  (Isn't it gorgeous - I think it is my favourite cover in ages and the insides are just as spiffy.  Join my team today and you could be having a browse online at it now!)

If you've changed your address in that time let me know and I'll update my records.  If you haven't ordered in a while and would like a catalogue - get in touch, or place a retired list order and qualify for a free catalogue.

Give a holler if you've got any questions - happy to help.

Masculine Cards: Truly Tailored

Truly tailored 2

I always seem to have lots of cards in my stash for my female friends and family, but often run short on masculine ones.  The Truly Tailored collection is a great one if you're looking to whip up a batch of cards all ready for the men in your life.

Truly tailored 1

It includes a snazzy punch.  Love the card that tiles patterned paper punched shapes - a great way to use up some of our paper stash. There's also a stamp set and patterned paper, plus buttons and ribbon for those great finishing touches.

Check out the full range here.  Click the pic to shop or browse details.

Almost forgot - here's a date for your calendar.  April 9th the official retiring list comes out with all the items that will be retiring from our range to make way for new goodies.  Check in on the 9th to see if anything catches your eye.  Will be while stocks last so pop that date in your diary.

Cheers, Sue

PS: I hope you had a lovely Easter.  The Madex clan all had a lovely long lunch at my sister's place in Sunbury.  Didn't she do a great job of the Easter decorating.  She's a whiz.
