One Little Word: Declutter

Each year in late December/early January I love chatting with a couple of my OLW friends about what our new One Little Word will be for the year.  I came across the idea from Ali Edwards the scrapbooker and did one of her OLW classes one year.

I love the process of mulling over different words to see what speaks to me that particular year.  I had a bit of a messy, cluttered patch last year so for 2018 I'm going with DECLUTTER.

DeclutterI'm starting with some much needed decluttering of the house.  We've whipped through the kids' rooms - well they made all the decisions and did the sorting, I just helped out.  Looking much more orderly in there.

I've dug up the top of my craft desk but a bit more TONS to go in there.  Bit of a never ending job keeping our craft areas tidy and organised isn't it.

Next up is some decluttering of my calendar and daily/weekly routine - getting rid of some time wasting things and making space for what's important.

Do you do a One Little Word?  I'd love to hear about your word for 2018 if this is something you do in January.  (Or anytime really.)

Getting your calendar organised for 2018?  My January newsletter has gone out today with class dates for January, February and March.  I'll have them here on the blog in a day or so - my newsletter crew get the first peek.  Sign up for my newsletter and I'll shoot you through a copy if you'd like to join the crew.

Stay cool if you're in one of our hot areas today.  42 predicted for Melbourne so I'm parked in front of the fan catching up on jobs, and possibly browsing Netflix once I tick a few things off my lists.  Wink!

Happy Stamping!  And best wishes for any of you who have some resolutions or intentions for 2018.  May your year bring you joy and fulfillment.

Cheers, Sue
