More Birthdays: Hannah and John's Cards

October was a busy birthday month for us.  Hannah turned 12 and John had a birthday too.  Here's a couple of ideas for quick and easy birthday cards using Stampin' Up products.

(Term 4 is crazy busy here so quick and easy is my motto for dinners, parties, cards and everything else!!)

For Hannah I started with something sparkly - silver glimmer paper.   I cut some banners out using the Hearts A Flutter framelits then cut the Little Letters from each banner.  The DSP is from Confetti Celebrations.  Some candy dots and a rhinestone to finish.

And here is her Smartie cake - inspired by a swag of them in cyberspace.

For John's birthday I used my banner framelits (on special this week in the Weekly Deals) and one of the patterned papers from Flashback DSP to make a super simple card, decorate a bag to match and the envelope.  In the bag I put a home made voucher to go to the Wood Working Show and get some additions to the wood turning tool kit, and some hunks of wood to turn into projects.

Looking forward to seeing these turn into bowls and what not.  Isn't creating fun - whatever medium you prefer.

Happy creating!

Cheers, Sue
