Lots of news to share today.  First up - the envelope punch board is now available to order. I've had a few people very keenly waiting on this one. 

It is $31.95, makes customisable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes, is super easy to use, small and lightweight, has a scoring tool and an inbuilt punch to help you create rounded corners on your envelopes.

My birthday girl had a lovely day turning 11.  As part of her present we got her a digital photo frame and I've been making some pictures in MDS to include amongst the photos with nice photos and quotes.  I had such a lot of fun putting it together and she loved it.  She likes her privacy so I'll have to check if there's any she's happy for me to share with you.

Busy time of year isn't it.  At our place we are all about quick and easy this term as there's lots on the calendar this time of year.  I'm finding MDS fabulous for quick and easy.  Easy to learn and once you've had a play and found your way around the basics it is so quick to create - and no mess.  Aaaaahhh bliss.

Somehow I often seem to find myself about to walk out the door to a kid's party with one my munchkins and no children's cards in my card box.  I hunted all over the place on Sunday for a boy card and then decided it'd be quicker to just whip one up in MDS.  I timed myself and it took 5 minutes exactly.   Jack thought his friend would love it so tick of approval there.  Here it is.

I'm just making one for John (birthday today) and Hannah (birthday tomorrow) - organised aren't I, ha ha. 

I'm busting to show you what I'm making in MDS for Hannah as part of her birthday gift but I'm about to head out the door to meet John for lunch so better save that for another day. ;-)

Do you live in Melbourne's west?  Want to get creative in October?  I've got 6 class dates to choose from.  In my papercrafts class we're doing boxes and bags this month.  Come along and give the Bigz Bow Die, Expressions thinlits and Festive Flurry stamps and framelits a test run while you decorate 2 boxes and a muslin bag.  Perfect for Christmas gift giving. 

Class fee is $20 and that includes everything.  No need to bring anything at all and classes are suitable for beginners and fun for experienced crafters too.  Classes are held at my place in Avondale Heights.

Out now - Single Christmas stamps.  Check here for more details.

This was another of the cards we did at last month's Christmas card class. 

A gatefold card, held closed with a belly band of burlap.  (Ooh don't say that too fast, you'll trip over your tongue!)  We stapled the burlap - super easy. 

The Merry is cut with the Expressions thinlits.  The thinlits have tiny holes so you can poke the lettering out with a paper piercer. 

Tombow multipurpose glue is handy for sticking it to your project. 

Must make something with the Love one too.  And have a scrapbooking idea for Thankful.

We also used Christmas Collectibles bundle - the ornament stamps and punch.  Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive for this card.  We used the White Craft Ink on the coloured cardstock, and the coloured ink on the white cardstock.  All works well together with coordinating colours.

The greeting is the every so sassy Sassy Salutations.  Love the font.  I've added a couple of the cute self adhesive candy dots.  Love these.   And the gorgeous happy DSP is Birthday Basics. 

Last few days of the school holidays here.  Is it bad if I'm looking forward to the Christmas holidays already!  Quite enjoyed the nice relaxed pace of this week with not much on the calendar. 

The kids have been enjoying a bit of holiday craft too. They dug out this air pump art thingy from the toy vaults and have been having fun with it.  Creating is fun.  Hope you get some creating time this week.
