Dress Up Framelits Plus Patterned Paper Scraps Equals Fun
May 04, 2013
If you've got a set of Dress Up Framelits and a stack of DSP (patterned paper) scraps you can have quite a fun time. We decided at April classes that it reminded us of playing paper dolls as kids. We started with choosing our 'fabric' for our dress then added the other elements. Black or Crumb Cake for the dress form, Naturals Ivory and the Ovals Framelit plus an embossing folder for the ovals, a coordinating base (Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse shown here) stamped using En Francais in Versamark. And some pretties to finish - ribbon, lace, a string of pearls, flowers. It is all in the accessories isn't it. ;-)
I've been a bit AWOL from blogland the last week or so. We enjoyed a fabulous long weekend on the farm of some family - so nice to be out of mobile range for a few days, enjoying the outdoors, the sun and wind. The kids had a ball playing with big dirt piles and the dog, digging up worms, fishing, toasting marshmallows and lots lots more.
What a great way to recharge all our batteries. Hope you get to recharge yours in some way this weekend.
Happy stamping!
Cheers, Sue
