What -  Christmas cards in January??

Just a reminder that Thursday is the last day for the Holiday Catalogue.  There's a list of items carrying over on page 34 and 35 of the new Seasonal Catalogue but there's LOTS that is not there.

Phone or email your order through before 9pm Thursday if you've got any last bits and pieces you'd like from the Holiday range.  Don't forget your Saleabration freebie if your bits and pieces add to $100.

Here's a few cards featuring Holiday Catalogue products.

Happy stamping!

Cheers, Sue

Busy Day At The Office

I've had such a fun day today pottering about getting some more samples ready for tomorrow's Drop In Day.

School holidays is when I'm extra glad I mostly work from home.  Very handy - the kids have been doing their woodwork craft projects (a Christmas present), nagging for snacks, playing Chinese Checkers and plugging into various electronic games and I've been playing with cardstock.  Quite a fun, relaxed day.

If you're local - it is not too late.  Come along if you're in the area and have some free time for my Drop In Day tomorrow.

Make a groovy little tag, pick up your catalogues and browse some samples and new products.  You might like to try out a few tools too like our new trimmer, the Simply Scored and what not.

Have a cuppa, sit down and chat stamping, plus I'm making my sister in law's YUMMY Black Forest Cheesecake Slice.  (Or we've got nice cool grapes for anyone who has made New Year's Resolutions, and is still keeping up with them this far into January - wink.)

I'll be back tomorrow with some cards to share.

Cheers, Sue

Me-2013A bit more info about me ...

I've been an active demonstrator for 5 years, I support my team by sending a team newsletter out when there's news around, am available by phone or email if you've got questions (I had a gazillion when I started) and hold casual team gatherings every few months in Avondale Heights, Melbourne.

Plus we've got a fabulous active team facebook group if you'd like to connect with other stampers online.

I'm also a wife of one, a mum of two, an upline to 47 and a part time primary school teacher.  In my spare time I love fluffing about with my camera, doing crafts with my kids and avoiding housework.  You can find out a bit more about me in my waffling on blog: HeyThereJustMe

Happy Saleabration everyone!

Cheers, Sue

Hey, nothing to do with the topic of the day but do you like my new pic?  A few bleaugh pics of me had popped out of cameras lately and I wanted one for my scrapbooking so I decided to take matters into my own hands after my latest dip in the dye pot and set up the tripod and snap away til I got a good one.  Felt like a right dill but it did the trick.  Grabbed the munchkins while I was there and snapped this one of my cuties.

Saleabration Australia 2013: Feeling Sentimental

On the countdown now!  Saleabration 2013 starts in Australia tomorrow.  For the next 2 months you'll get to choose a freebie for each $100 you spend.

Here's a peek at one of the 19 options you've got to choose from this year - Feeling Sentimental stamp set. I loved the penny farthing image.

You can see a peek at a couple of products from the new Seasonal Catalogue too - the DSP, a glimpse of ribbon and the tool I've used with my Score Board to make the zig zag at the right there.  (You have to look closely for that one!)

If you're local, swing by on Thursday at my Drop In Day to check out some more samples and pick up your catalogues and have a cuppa.  Or get in touch customers if you can't make it or live further afield, and would like me to post yours.

See you tomorrow for the official kick off of Saleabration 2013.

Cheers, Sue

Special Guest Cecile: A Gorgeous Handmade Gift

Isn't this the most gorgeous bunch of handcrafted flowers?  It was a beautiful gift from one of my class friends - Cecile.

They're looking lovely on my craft desk.  Thanks Cecile.

Thought I'd share a card I made with Hoop La La stamp set.  Markers are handy for this one.  I've used the Chevron embossing folder which I love too.

I hope you get to share some time with friends this week.

Happy stamping,

Cheers, Sue

Gift In A Jar

Christmas is well and truly over for another year but I thought I'd share this gift idea anyway as it might be a handy one for some other occasion.  I'd seen lots of  'Gift In A Jar' ideas on Pinterest so when these gorgeous jars popped up on Pack It In  I decided to grab a bunch.

I filled them with nuts for some and hot chocolate mix for others.  Here's some step by step pics.

Lids on and time to gather up some fabric.  I've used a whole bunch of different Stampin' Up fabrics and coordinating ribbons. (Tip: It helps to secure the fabric with a rubber band, then it is much easier to tie the ribbon around.)

Bit of a milestone moment for me as that's the first thing I've actually MADE after pinning it on Pinterest.  I thought they looked quite cute once we were finished.  And I had a spare to try out at home.  Tasted nice too!

Speaking of cuppas, some of the girls from my Think Ink team came over late last week to share a cuppa and have a play with some of the new products about to be released.  Just got to take some pics then I'll have some sneak peeks to share.

DROP IN DAY: Thursday Jan 24th

If you'd like to come and see some samples in person and have a cuppa and chat stamping or holidays or weather - I'm holding a very casual, DROP IN DAY on Thursday 24th January.  I'll be here between 10 and 5, and between 7 and 9 if any of my local ladies would like to call in, grab their new catalogues, see some samples and perhaps even make a quick and simple tag.

No charge of course and I'll have a lucky dip on the day for people placing Saleabration orders.

RSVP if you can make it or if you need more details.

Cheers, Sue
