Stampin' Up New Catalogue Peek: My Friend Card

I've been having a play with some new goodies from the upcoming new 2011/12 Stampin' Up catalogue.   Here's the first card I made using the set My Friend.  What an appropriate name for a card for a lovely friend.

My-Friend-card

The base is Concord Crush (always a tricky colour to photograph.)  I've also used Pink Pirouette (textured) and Very Vanilla.  The silhouette flowers are stamped in Concord Crush ink.  I've coloured the greeting using my markers - the colours from the card plus Pear Pizzazz.

Punches: Modern Label and Decorative Label - a nice combination.

I've added a spritz of sparkle to the pink layer and finished it off with some of the tiny pearls.

Hi Sue,
Was that one of your prizes at Convention? It is a lovely card & a very useful set I think. I went hunting for it in the sneak peek products as it is one I wanted when I saw the US catty. Thankfully only 10 days to go til I can order!

Such a lovely card, Sue. I love the colour combo.
