French Foliage stamp set

Leaf-card

Another card featuring French Foliage stamp set and the delicious Autumn DSP.

Colours:  Old Olive, Cajun Craze and a red.  (I think it is Cherry Cobbler but not 100%.)

Leaf-card-2

The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and higlighted with a couple of the tiniest pearls from the Basic Pearls sheet.

Leaf-card-3

Catch you after the Easter break.  Have a relaxing few days.

Cheers,  Sue

An Old Favourite

This card layout is a bit of an old favourite - my squares design.  It features the new Autumn Spice DSP and the French Foliage stamp set.

Squares-card-cajun

Colours:  Cajun Craze base (I've not used this colour a lot but it has been getting a good workout lately, love it with this DSP and stamp set.)  Early Espresso, Old Olive, More Mustard.

Squares-card-cajun-2

I love the script stamp from this set for backgrounds.  I've used the 1 1/4" square punch for the squares with More Mustard sponged on the edges.

Squares-card-cajun-3

The hemp twine goes well with these colours too I think for a finishing touch.

Cheers,  Sue

Butterfly Card

Butterfly-card

A little butterfly card for you today using the butterfly from Nature's Walk.

Colours: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Old Olive and Naturals Ivory

Other: A wheel (I forget the name now - will edit later!), eyelet border punch, oval punch, markers, pearls, crimper, sponge

Mood lighting shot.  :-)

Butterfly-card-2

Have a great weekend.  I'm off this morning to get rid of some grey hairs - aaahhh.

Cheers, Sue

French Foliage Launch Card

Here's the second card we made at last week's Autumn Mini Catalogue Launch.  A nice simple one.  The French Foliage stamp set is so easy to work with.

Launch-2

The greeting is done with Early Espresso ink on Cajun Craze cardstock, and punched with the new Decorative Label punch.

Launch-2b

The base was stamped with images from French Foliage using More Mustard, Soft Suede and Cajun Craze ink.   Some sponging around the edge to add a bit of depth.  The base card is Crumb Cake, a colour I use all the time and constantly have to restock.

Here's a matching bag made with the little brown paper bags from the Autumn Mini.

Wall News!

Our long long awaited replacement of our back boundary retaining wall/fence has finally begun!  Bit of a tricky job - 30 metres long, 1 - 2 metres high, and running between the stormwater pipe on our side and the sewer line on the neighbours side, with tight hilly access thrown in for good measure.  Quite a few crews took one look and said 'nah.'

But Monday morning 7.30am we had trucks, bobcats, diggers and men in yellow vests all on site.  Here's the view from our balcony in the morning.

Wall-before-1

And here it is a few hours later ... (I blanked out faces for privacy in case you are wondering why our builders have weird orange faces!)

Wall-1

And then it rained all day so now it is a bit of a mudpit!   I'll pop a few more pics up over the coming weeks as the project takes shape.  We're very excited to finally have it happening.  Once this is up we can get some water tanks in place then can start on the rest of the yard.  Hmmm, given our track record on keeping pot plants alive this could be interesting!

Cheers, Sue
