New Marker Clubs and Baby Card
September 04, 2010
I used my Stampin' Write markers and my new Baby Tees wheel to make this baby card.
I coloured directly on to the wheel with my markers, then gave a good few huffs before rolling it across the cardstock. I've used Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Pretty In Pink and So Saffron. Then just grabbed out some coordinating supplies to finish off the card. I cut out one of the little baby suits for an extra finishing touch. (Might add some of the gorgeous new adhesive rhinestones or pearls when my big box of goodies arrives next week!)

Baby Card
While we're on the baby theme, check out this fabulous baby chest of drawers card by Sue Bayliss. (Yes she is back and blogging her wonderful creations. Welcome back to blogland Sue!)
Jack's Birthday Card: Lots of Bots
Jack had his birthday recently. I was in a mad rush and only had a short time to make his card so came up with this quick and simple one using nice bright colours and the Lots Of Bots stamp set. I masked off the greeting that is below the robot using a post it note and just stamped the robots. He loved it.
Colours: Pacific Point and Real Red with crisp Whisper White. The greeting is from Occasional Greetings (pg 19) and the number is from the Birthday Party rub on pack on page 134.
He's a bit of a musical lad. Here he is trying out his birthday present. (Yes we are probably a bit nuts!)
And keeping with the drum theme - his cake. (A bit wobbly round the edges but he loved it!)
Bit wild, wet and windy outside today so good day to be tucked up indoors with my inks and stamps. Hope you are staying warm and dry, and that you squeeze a bit of craft time into your weekend.
Cheers, Sue
Happy Birthday to Jack, wow do we have a Ringo Starr in the making here ?
Awesome cake and card i say.
Yeah trying to stay warm and dry. cheers Maria

They grow up so fast don't they? Next thing you know he'll be forming his own rock band and dissing your taste in music! LOL! Very cute card, cake and terrific set of drums. You've been a busy beaver!
Hugs from the land across the sea. - Jean

What a precious baby card, Sue; just beautiful. Jack's birthday card is perfect (you're too hard on yourself, my friend!), and I love all the photos. A very happy birthday boy, indeed.
