Fabulous Blog Hop
Think Ink Team Heads To Convention ...

Prototype 1: Convention Swaps

Well the bags are packed, big list of who needs to be where - when and with what written out for John, he's all geared up for 4 fun days of being Stay Home Dad, the house is tidy    oops!, kids are kissed and I'm jetting off to Sydney today for the Stampin' Up Convention.  (Back Sunday if you have any stamping emergencies☺)   While I'm gone I thought I'd share some things I've been making in preparation.

Here's my basket of swaps ready to get packed.

Swaps-basket

Now I like to keep them under wraps until we've swapped but hopefully all the swappers will be too busy travelling today to be blog hopping!  So I'll give you a peek at one of them.  (Scuse the soft focus - was in a rush to get packed!)

Swaps-squares

This one features the Cottage Wall DSP and the Cottage Garden stamp set and my trusty 1 1/4" square punch card design.  (Which you'd have seen lots of version of if you're a frequent visitor to this part of blogland.)  The colours are Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Orchid Opulence.  I love that combination.

Swaps-squares-2

I must add a lighter to my tool kit.  I wanted to wave the ribbon ends through a flame to seal them and prevent fraying, but didn't have a lighter and my gas lighting thingy was out of gas.  So had to use matches instead.  Made about 15 of these, which is 30 ribbon ends and rather a lot of matches!!  :-)

Back tomorrow at 9am with something else to show you ...........

Cheers, Sue
