5 Minute Card ...
October 07, 2008
Got a spare 5 or 10 minutes. I think that was about how long I spent on this one. (Part of a cyber challenge from the Stampers' Inc crew - using basic supplies. OK I cheated with the brads!) Scroll down for one with another addition.
The Recipe
Stamp Set: Touch of Nature
Inks: Close To Cocoa, Old Olive
Paper: Naturals Ivory
Other: Brads (from the vintage pack), Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Bone Folder and groove in my trimmer for the scored line that is next to the rows of dots (hard to see in the photo), sponge
Wasn't quite happy with it - hmmmmmmed for a while then added a chocolate chip butterfly. I like this one better - which do you prefer??
Can you fit a 5 minute card into your day today???
Here are a couple more I made a few days later with a few extra steps - more sponging and the greeting done separately. Think these are my favourites!
Check this page if you are wondering what this month's Stampin' Up specials are.
Check this page if you are interested in attending technique classes in Melbourne's west (Avondale Heights.) A fun way to try some stamping techniques and make some cards.
Happy stamping,
Cheers, Sue
Love them all but I think the last two have the edge. Just love your style of card !!! TFS
