Hello hello. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We celebrated our 11th anniversary with a nice dinner out on Saturday evening. I must confess I do so enjoy a meal with no little children at the table from time to time!!
Not long to go now for the Summer Mini so I thought I'd share a card today that uses a few of my favourite Summer Mini products. Got any Summer Mini products on your wish list?? You can order from this catalogue up until March 31st.
This card was inspired by this beautiful Nikki Sadler card.
Cardstock: The base card is Confetti White. I love the little fleck of colour through this cardstock. I've also used some Whisper White, Perfect Plum and Pale Plum.
Stamp Sets: One of my favourites from the main catalogue 'Pocket Silhouettes' plus Butterfly Prints. I've used the butterfly punch as well.
Feature: The Sweet Treat Cup and 1 3/4" Circle Punch are a great combination. You can do so many things with them. The butterfly wedges nicely inside.
Finishing Touches: Some Certainly Celery Ribbon, a Pretties Kit half pearl to jazz up our butterfly, and a rhinestone brad (either from the Pretties Kit or they are available separately in a rhinestone pack with 3 sizes. Pg 149)
Doesn't the ribbon look lovely cinched with the rhinestone brad. I learnt that nice little finishing touch from Nikki Sadler as well. (Thanks!) I'm a tad challenged in the knot and bow tying department so am always on the look out for alternatives!!
Keep an eye out soon for a mid March newsletter from me with a couple more cards using Butterfly Prints and Sweet Treat Cups. You could make them at a March workshop if you can gather 3 or more friends together this weekend - Saturday 20th March, Sunday 21st March or the following weekend Saturday 28th March. Some bonus hostess goodies on offer for my March hostesses. Check here for more info.
Happy Stamping!
Cheers, Sue

Love your card Sue .... isn't that butterfly just so cute inside the card!

Hi Sue,
Love this card...similar to the one we made on Sunday. When I get my goodies will give it a try.
Thanks so much for such the wonderful demonstration on Sunday. All my guests loved it. Also thanks for being so patient with Nadya. She has been making cards at every opportunity since then.
