I've been having a nice time this last month making a bunch of these little cards. I find that I have a bit of a short attention span for colours so once I've made a batch using one patterned paper pack, I'm ready for a change of colour and move onto another pack.
Here's the Bella Bleu version. Back tomorrow with Haiku. Check here for Bella Rose.
I've used Kraft for the base card. (They're 9.9cm square. Why 9.9cm and not 10cm you ask?? That way you can get 3 from an A4 sheet of cardstock. Now I just have to find a use for the little strip I cut off the long side of the A4 sheet! )
I've used the gorgeous SaleABration stamp Vintage Labels, and Not Quite Navy and Sahara Sand inks. The other cardstock colours are Very Vanilla and Not Quite Navy. The papers from the Designer Series Patterned Paper packs just work together so well. All you have to do is mix and match.
And I've used my Curly Label Punch and some Stampin' Dimensionals too.
Back to School Week
For all those people who are back to school this week (lots of mums and teachers on my blog visiting list I know) - hope the first week back is going super well. I've really enjoyed the school holidays but am quite keen to be getting back into the regular routine again now. (Don't ask me that first thing in the morning though - ugh, I'm not a morning girl! After the first coffee kicks in perhaps!) Hannah is excited about seeing her friends again.
And here's my little guy all set for his first day at 3 yr old kinder.
He's rather chuffed with his new Bob the Builder backpack. I just about had to prise it off when it was time for bed!
Well, must dash. See you tomorrow for Haiku card!
Cheers, Sue

How cute is this pic! Hope his first day went really well and you didn't have too many tears! (both of you that is! hehe) take care.

Lovely cards Sue, but that amazing pic of Jack just takes the cake. I love the look on his face! I hope he has a fabulous year at kinder. He's growing up so fast.
