Boys And Their Nostrils ...
In completely unrelated news - Tuesday evening didn't quite go according to plan in our house! We were sitting at the table eating dinner. It had been a busy day so it was take away California Rolls. We had some of those little fishie shaped soy sauce containers. You know the ones ...
Well, all was fine until suddenly Jack (3) started crying and saying something about his nose. We couldn't work out what the problem was for a moment. Picked nose??? Rice up nose??? Boogies??? Til he said 'the red thing is up my nose!' WHAT??!! Yep, sure enough - the little red lid for the soy sauce fishie was nowhere to be found! Now I couldn't see anything up in nostril land, but put the missing lid fact together with one crying sore nosed boy - uh oh!
So it was off to Sunshine Hospital for Jack and I. Jack was for the most part quite happy by this stage and thinking this was quite an adventure. The triage nurse shone a torch up and sure enough - there was the lid, wedged in nice and high. Fortunately the doctor was able to grab it with his long fine tweezers and it was out in a flash and we were on our way home.
So on the scale of trips to the emergency room for little lads doing strange things, I'm thinking this was at the good end of the scale.
And next time I think we'll have fish and chips!
Hope your week is full of smiles. Cheers, Sue

That is the cutest photo - priceless

Oh dear. What an adventure for you and Jack. Glad to hear that he's fine and not too traumatised by the event. Wouldn't want him to be turned off by those healthy sushi rolls!
