My daughter Hannah (who is about to turn 7) was listening very carefully when I rehearsed my Faux Silk presentation with her ready for our Melbourne Stampin' Up! training day on the weekend.
The next day she was making some cards for two friends to say thanks for coming to her birthday. "I want to put that crinkly stuff on mum." Here are her Faux Silk creations.
She picked out Priceless stamp set, and some Soft Subtle colours. The greeting is in Rose Red and is from Punches Three stamp set. She distressed the edges of her matting cardstock too with the distressor from the cutter kit.
She really is enjoying some craft time lately. Reminds me of what a relaxing and fun hobby this is. I love that we have something we like to do together and can just imagine many mum and daughter crafty times ahead as she grows up.
Back with a Christmas card idea from me tomorrow.
Happy stamping.
Cheers, Sue

Well done Hannah! You are so clever and I love your cards. Looks like your Mum has a very talented little girl. TFS
