Here's card number 2 from my I Wish Kit Christmas Challenge. The sheets of die cuts and matching patterned paper and textured cardstock make it quick and easy to whip up a bunch of simple one of a kind cards.
I used my small star punch, word window punch and the greeting is from Short and Sweet.
The kids and I are off in Seymour for a few days of fun with my parents but I've set my 'post scheduler' to show you some kit cards over these days.
My newsletter went out over the weekend. This month's edition has 3 different cards using the same layout, a shipping special for newsletter subscribers, some eyelet border punch tips and lots more. Hope your copy hit your inbox and isn't floating about out there in cyberspace! There's a sign up box in the right column if you'd like to join the newsletter crew.
Happy Monday!
Cheers, Sue

Hi Sue
love your star card - just wish you were using the old Secret Garden kit - I sure could use some inspiration for that. By the way, am I the only one who has trouble using the new eyelet punch with ordinary paper - ie. reflex ??

Just had a go with my eyelet border punch on Reflex paper. I found the leftover strip part got caught up in the punch, and while it punched the design my paper ended up a little on the bent side afterwards. I think it is definitely more effective with a slightly heavier weight of paper such as our cardstock or DSP. I had a little more success folding the sheet of printer paper in half though and punching through a double layer of the paper - that might be worth a try Mary.
Good luck! Sue
