Nearly the end of the weekend here. I had a super day yesterday at a Stampin' Up event. My sister and 2 of my team came along too, along with heaps of others. We made 4 projects and learnt some great new techniques. Can't wait to give some of them a go.
Stay tuned ...
Hannah and I have been playing with my pastels today in preparation for my classes this month. I'll be back later this week with her creations. Do you get the Sunday Age? John and Hannah made it onto pg 5 of the M mag. A pic from last year's 'Walk Against Warming' March. The next one is on this coming weekend in cities and towns round Australia. More info here if you're interested.
Off to rustle up some dinner before the Dancing With The Stars Grand Final. Do you watch? Got a favourite?? I'm cheering for Luke this time round. Hannah is still getting over Charli not making it to the final!
Hope your weekend was a good one, and that the next one comes round quickly!
Cheers, Sue

How did John & Hannah get into the magazine? Did you have to do something special or was it just the luck of the draw? Will you do another walk this year?

No Fran - It was news to us. We participated in the walk last year and made our own signs. We had 3 generations - my mum and dad, John and myself, my sister and brother, and of course the kids. Hannah on John's shoulders with her sign attracted a lot of attention and a TON of people took their photo. Got a surprise to see it in the mag. I'm not sure yet if we can make it along tomorrow afternoon to participate this year. And we flunk carbon reduction this year with a drive each day to school and back. We do car pool with 2 other families though so perhaps not a complete flunk! Cheers, Sue
